Kalispell police took a call from a resident on Fifth Street East who was disturbed after receiving a letter from a real-estate agent saying the resident's property is going to be auctioned off. The letter had been sent to the wrong address.

A passenger car full of women was being driven recklessly and emitting sounds of profanity, according to a witness on U.S. 93.

Officers checked a home on Main Street, where a woman returned home from work to find her television on when she was sure she had left it off. No intruders were found inside.

Someone saw a person firing paint balls at skateboarders in Woodland Park, but that was news to the skateboarders, who said they hadn't been hit.

A man declined an offer from a caller who said if the man gave his credit card number, he could receive some "Girls Gone Wild" tapes.

A driver was arrested for DUI and having no insurance on U.S. 93. A man was arrested for partner assault on Fifth Avenue West. A driver who was pulled over on Granrud Lane was charged with drug possession.

There was evidence that someone tried to break into a vehicle on Liberty Street. A phone was stolen at the Rosebriar Inn.

A woman reported that a man broke her bedroom door in half and put a hole in the wall of her apartment.

Someone with a leaf blower in the parking lot disrupted the sleep of a guest at Super 8 at 4:30 a.m. Thursday. The worker agreed to return at a more reasonable hour.
