Flathead County Sheriff's Office dealt with domestic disturbances on Bierney Creek Road, Bad Rock Drive, on Rhodes Draw, Rose Crossing and Browns Meadow Road, where a man went to jail

A llama was on the loose a mile south of Whitefish, crossing back and forth across U.S. 93. At one point it sat on the side of the road with a goat. An animal expert said it would take more than an hour to arrive, so deputies tried to rope the goat. Eventually the critters were transported safely to the fairgrounds and announcements went out from local radio stations.

A speeder through residential Somers streets where children play has been asked repeatedly to slow down. Sunday, she yelled and pointed her finger.

A woman and small child both got out of a vehicle after it rolled over on Whitefish Stage Road just south of Hodgson Road on Sunday evening. They declined ambulance service.

The dog's leash was cut with a knife, the Alpha Road resident said. The frustrated animal owner thinks the same person may have stolen a rabbit a few days earlier.

A man on Fourth Street West in Hungry Horse reportedly threw rocks at a neighboring woman and 3-year-old child. The man said he had been in his house all night.

Four guys banging on a door to a home on Lenwood caused a woman to lock herself and her children inside. She was not scared, she told deputies, she just didn't want them around any more.

A mama bear and three babies were in a tree house on State Park Road outside Whitefish in the wee hours Sunday night. That's what a passer-by said.

A Conrad Drive resident has had it with a neighbor's unfixed fence and repeatedly loose horses that eat her own horse's hay.

One person was injured when a dump truck rolled over on Batavia Lane on Monday morning.

Concern about a very skinny bay horse near the Humane Society, where no food was evident, prompted a call to the Sheriff's Office on Monday. Another call came in about a very skinny dark brown horse, about 8 years old judging from an examination of the teeth, which had nothing to eat but old, black hay.

Cenex workers took over at the scene in Bitterroot Estates Drive at Marion after a propane tank was suspected to be leaking.
