An angry woman complained to a Kalispell police officer

that she had been locked out of her residence Thursday afternoon by her roommate. The officer provided counseling to the couple.

A not-such-a-good friend stole a woman's debit card and made some withdrawals. The Darlington Drive woman got reimbursed but wanted a record made of the crime.

Finnegan's reported a man left on foot without paying for lunch. Officers caught up with him, but the report was apparently in error.

At noon, a resident on First Avenue East North reported a woman in an sport-utility vehicle was going through Dumpsters.

Officers received two reports about senior citizens.

At about noon, a motorist reported that a short, gray-haired man with glasses was apparently looking for a fight as he tailgated in his red pickup down Third Avenue East. The other driver said the man signaled him to get out of his pickup for a slugfest.

An elderly man in a white truck was seen hitting a Chevy Tahoe on First Avenue East late Wednesday and leaving the scene.

Police were alerted that two men were following some people who left the Painted Horse just after midnight. A confrontation ensued in the Norm's News parking lot.

A woman complained to officers that first she got kicked out of the residence on West Nicklaus Avenue and then her former friend refused to return her bed.

On East Nicklaus, a resident found someone had siphoned the gas out of an all-terrain vehicle.

Officers received a report of child abuse Wednesday. A mother said that her 5-month old child returned with bruises after an overnight visit with the father.
