Phyllis Turk Harmon, 82

Phyllis Turk Harmon, 82, passed away on Nov. 25, 2006, at Heritage Place in Kalispell. She was born March 28, 1924, in Shelby, to Amos and Nellie (Stover) Turk.

Phyllis attended elementary school in Shelby, then moved to Thompson Falls and graduated from high school there. She attended Kinman Business College in Spokane.

In 1984, Phyllis moved to Kalispell. She belonged to the Valley Community Church of God. She had a love of music and singing. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines and the Sunshine chorus.

Phyllis loved being involved with her children and grandchildren and attended their activities. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis is survived by her three children: one son, Gary Harmon, and wife, Barb, of Shelby, and two daughters, Cindy Jenkins and husband Ted of Bigfork, and Kelly Robinson and husband Cliff of Seattle; five grandchildren, Shawn and Amy Harmon of Missoula, Cami and Levi Bowler of Post Falls, Idaho, Capt. Gregory S. Jenkins of Sumter, S.C., Amber Harmon of Bozeman, and Rachel Robinson of Seattle; one great-grandchild, Katie Harmon of Missoula; and several cousins, and nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Graveside memorial services will be in Shelby at a later date.
