Friday is not all right for fighting

Reports of fights kept Kalispell police busy Friday night.

A boy in a car and a man in a pickup tried to fight and threatened one another in the McDonald's drive-through on U.S. 2 West. The teen was released to his mother; the man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

An ambulance was called when a pregnant woman was pushed to the ground during a fight in the parking lot of Finish Line Cocktail Lounge & Casino. After an officer arrived, a running car rolled into the parked patrol car. Nothing was damaged.

At Finnegan's, one male customer reportedly kicked another man, then fled in a pickup.

One woman and four men were reportedly fighting at Town Pump on West Idaho, as were two or three women in the Sawbuck's parking lot. Everyone was gone before officers arrived.

A man reportedly broke down the door of a Second Avenue West residence, took some things and slammed the resident against the wall.

A 29-year-old woman and 47-year-old man were arrested on warrants at a Liberty Street address. The woman was also charged with felony drug possession.

A bartender at Moose's Saloon asked the man asleep out back to leave; when he refused, the bartender called police. The officer who arrived found an extremely intoxicated man. An ambulance took him to the hospital.

When a boy failed to break into a pickup in an alley off First Avenue East-North, he took off on foot, then broke into a run when he spotted a police officer. The officer chased him, caught him and found a very drunk, very combative boy. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation, then arrested for drug possession, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

A man said he'd suffered the eye and facial injuries in an assault on Leisure Island.

A window was broken at Kentucky Fried Chicken early Saturday morning.

Several tires were slashed in the Syke's parking lot.
