Flathead County Sheriff's Office deputies took a report from a surprised Farm to Market Road resident Wednesday night. Just when it was getting dark, a stranger walked into the house, surprising the resident and in turn acting surprised to see somebody in there. He left.

Two women and a baby were getting ready to leave Shopko with enough shoplifted merchandise to qualify as a felony when deputies stopped them at about 10 p.m.

It turned out to be only four youths in a room at the Alpine Inn after somebody reported an underage party, possibly with drugs, Wednesday night. Kalispell police did serve a warrant.

A Bigfork fireman's driving wasn't up to snuff, according to one caller who complained Wednesday afternoon to the Sheriff's Office.

A traffic accident that was reported to have trapped one passenger in a vehicle shortly after 11 p.m. turned out less severe, with nobody injured or trapped. It did, however, block traffic.

The woman who reported a domestic dispute on Antelope trail said she was hit, but refused to give the man's name.
