Kalispell police arrested a 29-year-old woman and her 36-year-old husband, and charged them both with partner or family member assault after a disturbance at East Center Street and Fourth Avenue East late Thursday afternoon.

Somebody stole a red pocket rocket from Woodland Park, the caller said. There's a suspect.

A well-cared-for but apparently lost border collie/husky mix dog was trotting through the parking lot at Home Depot Thursday evening, without a visible collar.

A purse was just one of the things reported stolen from a vehicle on Eighth Avenue West.

Police counseled a 14-year-old and the adult who allegedly assaulted the teen on Empire Loop.

Its value was $1,200, said the owner of the laptop reportedly stolen from a hotel room.

Turn it down, advised police when they encountered the suspects in a loud-music complaint.

A woman reportedly came onto another person's property, started a vehicle there and left it running. The question is, why?

An officer on foot spotted some people messing around behind the station, and followed long enough to learn it was kids playing games. They were counseled.

Two vehicles were running away from a police car near the Alpine Friendship Inn, so by the time the officer stopped one of them, the boy driving was charged with reckless eluding and driving with a suspended license.
