Eunice (May) Lee, 79

Eunice (May) Lee, 79, passed away March 27, 2007, at Spokane Valley General Hospital after a long battle with kidney problems.

Eunice was born to Fredrick Russell and Susie (Hess) Hume in Kalispell, and spent her school years in Fortine.

After marrying Robert E. "Bob" Lee, they settled in Kalispell until 1958, when they moved to Crosby, Minn. In 1963, they moved back to Kalispell, where they stayed until Bob retired in 1983. At that time, they moved to Sun City, Ariz. In 1997, they moved to Kennewick, Wash., where Bob passed away in 2001. Eunice then moved to Spokane to be closer to her grandchildren and her sister, Julia.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; six brothers; two sisters; and one son.

She is survived by her children, son, Jim Lee, and wife, Penny, of Spokane; daughter, Candy Davis, and husband, Dale, of Richland, Wash.; son, Bob Lee, of Kalispell; and daughter, Carol Lee, of Snohomish, Wash.; brother, Pat Hume, of Fortine; sister, Julia Conrad, of Otis Orchards, Wash.; brother, Frank Hume, of Tacoma, Wash.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Eunice met many people over the years and had many close friends and family who will miss her dearly. She will now rest in peace with Bob, the love of her life.

A graveside memorial will be held at 11 a.m. May 19 in Fortine.
