Donald Lee Tucker, 71

Donald Lee Tucker, 71, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. He was born April 14, 1936, at Polson, the son of Arther G. and Grace A. (Mosley) Tucker.

He was raised and educated in Polson. He entered the U.S. Army in 1957 and served until 1959.

Don worked for several years as a heavy equipment operator on road construction, and for many years was the general handyman for Flathead Industries.

He married Glenda Daley and to this union three children were born, Pat Tucker and his children, Coby and Tyler; Mick Tucker and his children, Tanner and Tess; and Trisha and her son, Jake.

He later married LaVon and was a wonderful 'Pa' to her three girls and 'Papa' to their four children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaVon; and son, Pat.

He is survived by three stepdaughters, Verna Crawford and husband, Brian, and their children Charla and Brandon, of San Bernadino, Calif., Sherryl Main and husband, Ted; and their daughter, Sarah.

As per his wishes, Donald was cremated and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
