Beverly Jean Wolfe, 70

Beverly Jean Wolfe, 70, passed away April 23, 2007, at her home in Whitefish. She was born July 8, 1936, in Wendell, Idaho, and moved to Whitefish in 1955, where she met and married Ted Wolfe Jr.

They spent their lives in Whitefish, raising three sons and living the life of a railroad family.

In her later years, she enjoyed being active in the Red Hats Club and was affiliated with the Moose Home of Whitefish. She also enjoyed volunteering occasionally at the Golden Agers.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Jr.; and father, Arthur Kassens.

She is survived by her sons, Scott and Benjy Wolfe, both of Whitefish, and Jody and his wife, Jolene Wolfe, of Houston; and grandchildren, Nathan and Amanda Wolfe, of Houston. She also is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bernice and Russell Kulm, of Spokane; brother, Darrell Kassens, of Aberdeen, Wash.; and sister, Terry Neal, of Spokane.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Glacier Memorial Gardens; with a reception afterward at the Golden Agers in Whitefish.
