Gordon's bat powers Mariners

EUREKA - Will Gordon doubled, tripled and drove in four runs to help Mission Valley win its third straight Class A American Legion baseball game on Sunday.

The Mariners, 3-1 on the season, had eight hits in the contest with half of them going for extra bases in a 16-2 triumph over the Glacier Twins.

Gordon, Tyler Linse and Tim Rausch all went 2-for-3 at the plate. Rausch finished with two RBIs and Linse had one.

Glacier took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third, but Mission Valley answered with seven in the bottom half of the inning and added nine more in the fourth.
