Repo attempt ends in injury

Flathead County sheriff's deputies found themselves in the middle of a family drama when a woman and her sister tried to repossess a car from the sister's husband. The husband tried to move the car before they could get it, and the woman tried to prevent it from leaving. It's not clear whether the car hit the woman or the woman hit the car. She was taken to the hospital with a knee injury.

Somebody stole a Whitefish High School golf cart and ran it through a fence.

Deputies are looking for a charcoal colored crew cab pickup with front end damage after a hit and run rear-ending on U.S. 2 near Glacier Park International Airport. One person, not from the missing pickup, was taken to North Valley Hospital.

A 16-year-old boy who had his jaw broken and teeth kicked out after getting blindsided at a house party is refusing to press charges.

Empty beer cans were found in a borrowed sleeping bag some youths were using to camp with near Lost Prairie Road.

Some mules got loose on West Valley Drive.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on Lake Hills Court for aggravated assault after he entered his girlfriend's house, yanked her off the couch, and kicked her in the head. She was taken to the hospital with a possible broken nose and a missing tooth.

A boat in Bigfork Bay on Flathead Lake capsized about 300 yards from shore. Another boat on the lake righted it and hauled it to shore. There were no injuries.

More nitroglycerin was found at a woman's house on Alpha Road in Hungry Horse. The woman's recently deceased husband used to make the substance. A small jar of the explosive was also found earlier this summer.

A vehicle was found in the ditch on U.S. 93 near mile marker 95.

Deputies are looking for a 36-year-old man who broke a restraining order and showed up a woman's house. He also has warrants out for aggravated assault and kidnapping.
