Larry Zain Hilliard, 36

| August 17, 2007 1:00 AM

Larry was born May 6, 1971, in John Day, Ore. He "went to be with his Heavenly Father" on Aug. 14, 2007. Larry is the son of Laramie and Mary Hilliard. He lived most of his childhood in a loving home in Marion, with the exception of a few years in John Day.

Larry was a single father, raising two beautiful daughters since a very young age. He was such a wonderful and patient father with his two girls.

Larry excelled at every occupation that he ever had. His first job after graduating from Flathead High School was working in the woods. Then he did carpentry for Hilliard Construction and Concrete. At the time of his death he was working for Wagar Excavating.

No matter what Larry did he was good at it. He could always put a smile on anyone's face, and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He will be greatly missed.

"We love you, Larry."

Larry is survived by his two beautiful daughters, SharDay and Melissa Hilliard; mom and dad, Mary and Laramie Hilliard; two brothers and spouses, Zeph and Wendy Hilliard of Kalispell, and Tom and Cathy Hilliard of Coram; a loving sister and husband, Ellie and Mick Scheulen, of Marion; numerous nephews and nieces, ZJ Hilliard, Starla Hilliard, Thomas Hilliard, Kayla Hilliard, Stacey Scheulen, Angela Scheulen, Cody Barnett and Brianna Barnett; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Tom and Eleanor Mothka, and Dorothy and Zeph Hilliard.

"Larry, though gone from this world you will forever be in each and every one of our hearts. We will greatly miss you. Thank you for all the loving memories."

In lieu of flowers, a fund for Larry's girls, SharDay Dawn Hilliard, age 10, and Melissa Spring Hilliard, age 7, will be set up. Donations for the girls can be sent to the grandparents, Mary and Laramie Hilliard, at 565 Newlin Drive, Marion, MT 59925.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 17, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.

This paid obituary is being run again at the request of the family.
