Rental car reportedly on the loose

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies received a report that a car has not been returned to a rental agency on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. That person is also refusing to return phone calls.

Someone called deputies complaining about a large amount of garbage in a parking lot on Reserve Drive and U.S. 93.

A tree fell across the road on U.S. 93 near mile marker 156.

Someone broke into the concession stand at the baseball fields in Columbia Falls.

A 19-year-old man was harassing young children on First Avenue South in Martin City.

Unsafe shooting was reported somewhere in the area of Spring Hill Road.

Deputies are looking for a man who hit his wife in the face on Smith Lake Road and bolted.

A man was trying to build a house on Bear Hollow Road in Bigfork. He must not have been building to specs because his wife started threatening him. So he called deputies.

A mother called in the deputies to counsel her 12-year-old son who was determined to visit a neighbor's house, even after she told him not to.

Numerous mailboxes were smashed on Farm To Market Road.

Someone ding-dong-ditched a house on Houston Point Drive more than 30 times.
