Fuller's six TD strikes lift Loggers
Libby rips Kellogg in grid opener, 53-20

KELLOGG, Idaho - Joel Fuller threw six touchdown passes Saturday night to guide Libby to a 53-20 victory over Kellogg, Idaho, in a nonconference football game.
Fuller completed 9 of 15 passes for 263 yards. He had one pass intercepted.
It was the season opener for the Loggers.
The Libby defense collected six interceptions and registered one fumble recovery. Free safety Zack Rowan had two picks, the second one he returned 60 yards for a touchdown.
Loran Nelson, cornerback, Conner Benson, cornerback, TJ Benson, linebacker, and Fuller, strong safety, also had interceptions.
"(Kellogg) had an athletic team, pretty physical," said Libby coach Neil Fuller.
"They were a real challenge for us up front. They were playing seven to eight guys up front defensively. Our kids (in the line) did a nice job on both sides of the ball."
Jeremy Chumley rushed 12 times for 109 yards to key the Libby ground game. He had one rushing touchdown of 35 yards.
Chumley also had three receptions for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Nelson had two touchdown receptions, 11 and 28 yards.
Benson and Rowan both had touchdown catches of 42 and 65 yards, respectively.
Kellogg scored one touchdown off a Libby turnover and another following a blocked punt.
"Our defense played very well overall," coach Fuller said.
"We shut them down for the most part."
Libby continues with nonconference play on Friday, at Frenchtown.
