Lions and horses and bears, oh my!

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies reported that cows got loose on Witty Lane. Dogs got loose near Evergreen Junior High. Horses got loose on Whalebone Drive. A mountain lion was spotted on Montana 35. And a bear was observed causing problems on Reservoir Road.

Deputies responded to a call on Rhodes Draw where a 5-year-old boy was tied up by other neighborhood kids. They also threw sticks at him.

A cement truck rolled over in the middle of Main Street near the intersection with Airport Road. No one was seriously injured. Hazmat crews were dispatched to clean up leaking gas and antifreeze.

A purse was either stolen or misplaced on Rocky Woods Lane.

A man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia on Meadow Lane.

A man who doesn't live in a trailer park on Shady Lane kept coming onto the property even after he was repeatedly asked to leave. But when deputies asked him to leave, he did.

Windows were shot out of a truck and camping trailer on East Texas Avenue.

A car hit a deer on U.S. 2 near mile marker 106.

A woman's 11-year-old son found a dead cat in a bag on East Oregon Street.

Nothing was taken during a burglary on Jellison Road, but the house was pretty messed up.

A woman called deputies saying her 15-year-old son was being harassed by workers next door. Deputies settled the problem with a phone call.

A 24-year-old man ran out of a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen with a case of beer under each arm. Deputies caught up with him one hour and a couple blocks later. He was cited for theft. The man showed questionable judgment twice that night. Once for stealing and once for stealing Natural Ice and Busch.

Two bikes were found behind a Dumpster at a convenience store in Evergreen.

A man and his wife were arguing loudly late at night outside their trailer on Montana 35. Another man, who evidently wanted some sleep, punched the husband in the mouth.

A man accused his brother-in-law for taking his fishing reels. In response, the brother-in-law cut the rope the man was working with.

Sugar was put in the gas tank of a car on Columbia Falls Stage Road.
