MISSOULA - That first dual victory is in the books for the Glacier Wolfpack.

Glacier, on the strength of 10 pins, downed host Missoula Hellgate 72-16 on Thursday night.

"This is a great experience for these kids," said Glacier coach Mark Fischer.

"It's the first time they've experienced that success. These kids went out there and they competed."

Recording pins for Glacier were Sam Overton, Stormy Day, Jordan Nelson, Lucas Cummings, Braden Bagley, Matt Cope, Clayton Hamilton, Boyce Ballard, Jake Criner and John Frandzen.

Five of the matches lasted less than one minute. Lucas Cummings had the quickest pin of the evening at 135. It took him just 21 seconds to stick his Hellgate opponent.

"They just started going out there … I think it was just contagious," Fischer said.

"The kids were just one after another. It did come together for us tonight. Everything worked well.

"We were impressed with everybody. We coaches are just ecstatic," he added.
