Guess he didn't get the picture

Nine years ago, a Haywire Gulch resident said, he was unable to get cable TV because the cable company claimed he had an outstanding balance. Flathead County sheriff's deputies told him it was a civil, not criminal, issue.

A caller thought the guy who pulled off the road to use his cell phone was suspicious.

On Friday afternoon, someone tried to break into a West View Drive home. Last week, someone vandalized Christmas decorations at the same address.

When caught stealing at a grocery store, the 27-year-old man became uncooperative. He fell down a flight of stairs, was taken to the hospital and then was ticketed on suspicion of shoplifting.

Kids were spotted throwing eggs on Whitefish Stage and West Evergreen Drive.

A woman told deputies two men threw her out of the house, and she had no idea where she was. When they eventually found her at a hotel, she said she had no complaint.

The woman whose wallet was stolen at a bar Friday night found it outside the bar Saturday, sans driver's license and checkbook.

The trio of goose hunters had permission to hunt on Montford Road from the man who farms the property. Unfortunately, he doesn't hold the deed, and the owner reported the hunters as trespassers. They left.

There was no evidence that an elk had been poached at the intersection of Montana 40 and U.S. 2, as a caller had reported. A deputy and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks official did, however, find evidence that someone had hauled off a deer killed by a vehicle.

An armed trespasser was reported at Montana 40 and Trumble Creek Road, but deputies found the unarmed man had permission to be there and would have been allowed to use firearms if he'd had any on him.
