A woman said she got a letter from a man in prison, saying he knows all about her now, after she was interviewed by a local TV station which aired her picture and name.

It was eerie enough for the owner to discover somebody had rummaged through the vehicle, but the intruder left a cigarette burn on the seat, too.

Snowmobilers lost two rented sleds in the Canyon Creek area and two people in the survival cabin, but eventually all eight made it out safely.

There was a pickup truck driver on the way through Hungry Horse apparently trying to hit another vehicle.

He sprayed customers with bear spray, then left. He'd been in an altercation earlier, too, the report said.

It raised suspicions when a truck drove down Conn Road with its lights off, then sat on the road for some time, then sped away.

One woman was arrested after a disturbance on Willow Glen Road. Kalispell police helped pursue the vehicle from the incident before she was taken into custody.

Harassment of a child was reported at East Evergreen Elementary School.

An antique sign was taken from property near Marion.

Large boulders in the southbound lane of U.S. 93 just past the Somers boat ramp triggered a call to the Department of Transportation.
