Columbia Falls police are investigating a series of burglaries, attempted break-ins and other mischief reported Monday. On Nucleus Avenue, cash was missing from a burglarized business and the alley door was spray-painted at another, where other vandalism has been occurring during the past couple weeks. Someone attempted to gain entry to a house, but failed.
