Flathead County sheriff's

| February 27, 2007 1:00 AM

Flathead County sheriff's deputies stepped up patrol after getting word of threats against a 13-year-old boy.

A 17-year-old was grounded by his parents, then he got violent with his dad, and left with his sister for an overnight stay.

Not a good idea to shoot at bottles in the direction of a trail used by cross-country skiers, the caller said. A pickup that one of the shooters drove there later got stuck on the county road west of the Canyon Creek snowmobile trail off the North Fork Road.

Snowmobiles were deployed to help stranded motorists on Star Meadows and Tally Lake Road. The motorists were stuck, but freed themselves. The snowmobiles were put away.

One person thinks stealing newspapers is an offense punishable by threatening phone calls to a resident on Gilbert Lake Drive.

She was just tired and pulled over for a nap. At least that's what the woman told the paper carrier worried about the vehicle pulled over on Blackmer Lane.

Furniture left in his sister's rental should be returned to him. The landlord didn't agree.

Calls came in about injured deer on East Oregon, Helena Flats Road and at Crestwood Resort.
