It was a thief-themed day for Whitefish police Monday. A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft at Whitefish High School, a jacket was reported stolen from Holiday Inn Express, a cell phone was gone from a car behind a downtown bar, and two chain saws and a chop saw went missing from a garage on Pine Avenue.
