Deputies investigate suspicious scent

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies got a call Monday from a person who said it smelled like there was something dead in Springcreek Cemetery. Nothing was amiss when deputies arrived.

A person on Wettington Drive called deputies to come protect them while they took some property back from a neighbor. A few minutes later, the neighbor called saying a neighbor was stealing their stuff.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on Canyon Road in Hungry Horse after he kicked in somebody's door. Authorities said the man was lucky he didn't get shot, as the house's occupant had a gun and told the intruder so.

A 57-year-old man was arrested for assault after he punched a woman in the back twice.

Streakers were spotted on the rocks at Wayfarers State Park.

An older man in dark clothing was looking into a house's window on Whitefish Stage Road. He was gone when deputies arrived.
