Ever hear of two players combining for 15 RBIs in a game?

The Kalispell Lakers Class A American Legion baseball team ended its regular season on a high note Saturday.

The Lakers beat Glacier, 18-5, to cap a 23-20 regular season. They finished their Western A North schedule at 14-2 and will take the top seed into the district tournament in Polson next weekend.

Toby Liechti had four hits and Drew Forster had three as the two combined for 15 RBIs.

"I've never seen that before (two players getting 15 RBIs)," Kalispell coach Pat Connors said. "Our two-out hitting was good tonight. The top three hitters in our order just exploded."

Liechti hit his third home run of the week.

Ben Sansaver spread seven hits and three walks over seven innings to earn the complete-game victory and improved to 7-0 on the season. He was also 3-for-3 from the leadoff spot.
