Private eye not so private anymore

Someone called Kalispell police about a suspicious vehicle on Second Avenue West North. Turns out it was a private investigator on surveillance.

Police cited a man for disorderly conduct and discharging a firearm inside city limits on Sixth Avenue West. He was having an argument with his girlfriend, got frustrated, and then walked outside to squeeze one off.

Police were called to check out what looked like a fake cleaning crew at a restaurant on U.S. 93. They ended up arresting a 25-year-old man for two outstanding warrants.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested for possession of alcohol after a traffic stop on West Nevada Street.

A 49-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on U.S. 2.

Police arrested a 17-year-old girl for driving under the influence of alcohol, another 17-year-old girl for possessing alcohol, and yet another 17-year-old girl for possessing alcohol and obstructing an officer. They also arrested a 19-year-old man for possessing alcohol and obstructing and a 26-year-old man for endangering the welfare of children. All of this happened at one traffic stop on the corner of U.S. 93 and Airport Road.

A bottle of pills was found on the roof of an East Idaho Street pizza joint. It is unknown how long they were there or whose they are.

One to two gallons of gas spilled on First Street East.

Police broke up a fight on Main and Third streets. They advised the participants to leave.
