There's something to be said for good service

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who walked into a restaurant on Montana 35, punched another patron in the face, and ran out. He apparently wasn't happy with the service provided him by the victim's business.

A woman gave another woman a fat lip on Ridgewood Drive. Deputies took a report.

A wedding band was found near the Swan River in Bigfork.

Someone reported a meth lab near Stillwater Lake. There was a strong chemical smell coming from the area. Deputies investigated but didn't find anything amiss.

A woman called deputies to remove either a squirrel or a groundhog that had taken refuge under her refrigerator on Grouse Ridge Drive.

A 33-year-old man rolled his car on Tetrault Road about one mile east of Whitefish Stage Road. When officers arrived, there he wasn't at the vehicle. He was found hitchhiking down the road. Deputies found a marijuana pipe on him and believe he had been drinking.

A shoplifter was caught on a video surveillance tape at a store on Montana 35 in Bigfork.

A man sustained a head injury in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 2 near Rose Crossing but left the scene before ambulances could be dispatched.

A trailer parked off U.S. 2 was sprayed with graffiti.

An obnoxious rooster was reported in Hungry Horse.

An above-ground swimming pool on Mountain Avenue near Columbia Heights was popped.
