Suspect arrested for '04 burglaries

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies caught up with a 26-year-old man they suspect of burgling several cabins up the North Fork in 2004. He is being held in the Flathead County jail on $100,000 bail.

There was a fight in the Flathead County Detention Center. It was quickly broken up.

Deputies broke up a disturbance on Ridgewood Drive.

A 38-year-old man was arrested after calling a woman from a bar and threatening to beat her up. Deputies arrested him at a different bar.

A ferret was found on Dogwood Avenue.

Deputies received a report that a person was smoking at the public boat access on Spoon Lake.

Shots were heard near Halfmoon Lake and on Julian Lane in Bigfork.

A man and a woman got into a custody dispute over their child. Deputies responded to the burgeoning argument on Montana 206 and counseled the parties.

No one was injured when a vehicle rolled over near the Tally Lake campgrounds.

Cars were racing near Leisure Lake.

A man who was hit in the head with a broom stick during an argument at a motel refused to go to the hospital. The 17-year-old boy who allegedly did the hitting was arrested.

At least 24 minors were arrested for possession of alcohol during Heritage Days in Columbia Falls.

A bonfire was reported in Conrad Memorial Cemetery.

A tractor-trailer jackknifed on U.S. 93 South. There were no serious injuries.
