Beasts become a burden for police

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were called to collect wandering, unclaimed donkeys on Barbaras Way in Kila.

Deputies have a 34-year-old man charged with drug possession, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving on a suspended license, in custody. He was also arrested on warrants.

A man was arrested for family member assault after an altercation with his wife in the front yard Wednesday.
