The mothers of two more boys told jurors Monday that David Farr inappropriately touched their sons on multiple occasions.

The mothers of two more boys told jurors Monday that David Farr inappropriately touched their sons on multiple occasions.

Farr's trial on charges of felony sexual assault entered its seventh day in Flathead District Court on Monday.

Each mother testified Monday to the exact words their sons used to describe the alleged abuse.

The first mother to take the stand bluntly told jurors that Farr "molested my son."

She also testified to finding blood in her son's diaper and scrapes on his body about a year before the allegations became public.

Defense attorneys questioned this alleged victim's mother at length about the reliability of her notes and her memory. The mother said she destroyed some of the original notes after transcribing them onto a computer because they were too sad to look at.

"I didn't understand how important it was to have the original notes," she said during cross examination.

Defense attorneys questioned how accurate the typed versions of those notes are without originals to back them up.

They also asked the mother about threats that members of her family made on the defendant's life and her conclusion that Farr hurt her son before his disclosure.

"They would never kill him, they were just very, very upset," she said of the threats.

The second mother to take the stand told jurors her son became "sad," "withdrawn," and "seemed troubled" when Farr or the alleged abuse was brought up.

And, despite discrepancies in her testimony at an earlier hearing, she said she had independent memories of what her son told her.

She also testified she was positive her son knew what was happening to him, recounting an incident where her son thought he saw Farr and became almost hysterical.

The mothers testified in their sons' places under a Montana Supreme Court ruling that allows hearsay evidence in cases involving very young children.

Farr, 37, is charged with five counts of felony sexual assault. Farr is accused of molesting five boys between the ages of 2 and 4.

Farr is expected to testify in his own defense today or Wednesday.
