GREAT FALLS - The Glacier Twins Class AA American Legion baseball team swept the Great Falls Electrics Friday before losing to the Stallions on Saturday.

The Twins and Stallions were scheduled for a Western AA doubleheader, but rain and hail at Centene Stadium suspended the second game. It will resumed at that point later in the season, time and place yet to be determined. The Stallions led 3-1 in the top of the second when the second game was suspended.

The Twins swept the Electrics 9-5 and 5-3. The Stallions beat them 6-1. The Twins are now 2-3 in Western A play and 17-10 overall on the season.

The Stallions are 2-2 in conference and the Electrics are 4-5.

The Stallions tied the game at 1 in the bottom of the third when Parrish, the southpaw-swinging outfielder, capped his sensational week with a long home run to right. Parrish hit two home runs on June 10 and blasted another on June 14. The 18-year-old now has seven long balls on the season.

The Stallions took the lead in the fourth on an RBI single by Zach Griffith. Then in the fifth, two Glacier infield errors opened the door and the Stallions took advantage to score four times.
