Libby falls in title game to Bitterrroot

LIBBY - Libby's rally fell short Sunday as the Bitterroot Red Sox won the Big Bucks Tournament, 6-3.
The Loggers scored two runs in the top of the seventh to make things interesting down the stretch. The Loggers also left the bases loaded in that inning.
Libby stranded 10 runners in the title game.
The Loggers left the bases loaded in the first inning while scoring just one run.
"It was a good, competitive ballgame," said Libby coach Kelly Morford.
"This was a game that will make us better down the road."
On Saturday, against St. Maries, Idaho, Ryan Stapley belted a grand slam home run. It was his first of the season.
Libby, 14-12, plays the Laurel Dodgers Thursday in Whitefish at the Ed Gallo Legion baseball tournament.
