Kalispell police went to counsel an 18-year-old woman against making harassing phone calls and ended up arresting her for failure to appear in traffic court.

Police called a 19-year-old man to pick up some belongings of his that had been found in the skatepark. When he arrived, police arrested him on a sexual assault warrant.

They also received a call of a four-wheeler speeding recklessly down an alley near Seventh Avenue West.

Officers followed a possible stolen vehicle to an address on Eighth Avenue West. When they searched the residence they found a 19-year-old man wanted on four counts of theft, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of obstructing a police officer. He was hiding in the closet, according to reports. The investigation into the stolen car is still ongoing.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he allegedly drove by an officer investigating an accident while screaming obscenities.

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy for possession of alcohol. They also cited an 18-year-old woman, a 20-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man.

A landlord told police a former tenant stole the curtains out of a rental unit, but was unable to prove it.

A woman called police about a lottery scam. She received a letter in the mail from the Bingo Lottery Company telling her she won and was getting a check for $47,000 of $5 million. To cover the taxes, the letter asked her to deposit the check and then wire the money back to the company. The woman, wisely, neither cashed the check or wired the money.
