Kalispell police looking for 16-year-old girl

Kalispell police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who may be missing. Her mother's car was found wrecked near Columbia Falls, and she was not at home or with the car.

A 36-year-old man was arrested for family member assault and two counts of simple assault after he hit his ex-girlfriend, his daughter, and his daughter's boyfriend. Injuries were minor.

Pistols were stolen from three separate vehicles Monday on Phoenix Street, Cally Lane, and Santa Fe Street.

Windows on six separate cars were smashed on Third Avenue East, Seventh Street West, 3rd Avenue East North, Eighth Street East, Seventh Avenue East, and Fifth Avenue East North on Monday. Police received the calls between about 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

A woman lost her purse somewhere between Kalispell and Libby.

Somebody stole a coin-operated toy vending machine from Flathead Industries.

A mysterious person has been cutting the lawn and pruning the trees at a house on Sixth Avenue East North.

About $20,000 seems to have vanished into mid-air after a man tried to transfer his account from one bank to another. The police are now involved.

Three boys were warned against mistreating the swings at Hedges School.

An elderly woman with a walker going down the middle of Meridian Road was moved to the shoulder.

Police removed a bunch of lumber on U.S. 93 after it fell from a truck.
