Moose dropping

Ryan Hansen, a moose assembly man and welder with Kalispell Art Casting, leaps off the top of Robert Tate's nearly 1-ton creation before the bronze moose was airlifted into its permanent home Friday afternoon in front of the new Sportsman and Ski Haus in Kalispell's Hutton Ranch Plaza. Tate, right, worked on the sculpture with his 15-year-old daughter Morgan Tate for six months. The moose, who's nicknamed Haus, is the mascot for the business' new location, which will open Friday.
