Madeline E. Carmichael, 93

Madeline E. Carmichael, 93, passed away June 15, 2007, at Lake View Care Center in Bigfork. Madeline was born June 3, 1914, in Hartford City, Ind., to Frank and Anna (Adams) Hamilton. She lived in Hartford City most of her life.

She married Glenn Carmichael on March 17, 1934, in Geneva, Ind.

Madeline enjoyed camping and fishing before Glenn passed away. She did a lot of embroidery when her girls were growing up and, before her eyesight worsened, she enjoyed reading.

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; her parents, Frank and Anna; a brother, Thomas Hamilton; her sisters, Frances Reynolds and Lillian Maddox; and a baby daughter, Patricia Carmichael.

She is survived by her two daughters, Blanche Hamilton of Bluffton, Ind., and Carol Endsley of Bigfork; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held locally at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Pope John Paul II Catholic Church in Bigfork. Graveside urn burial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on July 20, at the IOOF Cemetery in Hartford City.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity in Madeline's name.
