Flathead County sheriff's deputies were stopped by road construction between East Glacier and Pinnacle when they tried to help the Bureau of Indian Affairs in a pursuit that had started Saturday evening of an aggravated-assault suspect in Browning.

Fish and Game officials handled the call about a mountain lion spotted Saturday afternoon near Whitefish at Seventh and Karrow Avenue.

There was a lot of screaming and an uncooperative man in a car early Sunday outside the home on Whitefish Stage Road home, but deputies found it all to be a verbal disturbance.

A Marion area resident suspected a neighbor shot her dog. A deputy answered her questions Sunday morning.

On Sunday afternoon, another dog was found shut inside a closed pickup for quite some time. Fish and Game officials investigated.
