Kalispell police arrested a 31-year-old woman for driving under the influence of alcohol after she plowed through a light post and into some trees on U.S. 93 South. She called someone to drive over and pick her up - before she knew she was taking a trip to jail - who, it turns out, was also drunk. So police arrested the 37-year-old man, also for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Somebody stole a compost pile from a home on Seventh Avenue East.

A truck with a "for sale" sign, parked in a business' lot on Whitefish Stage Road, was vandalized with a golf club. Police recovered the club they suspect was used. It was hanging out of one of the truck's windows.

A purse and a tea pot were stolen from a car parked on First Avenue West.
