The identity of the Lakeside woman killed in a Wednesday night crash on U.S. 93 has been released.

Marjorie Marsh Crow, 69, died of blunt-force trauma to her chest, Flathead Deputy Coroner Pete Wingert said Friday.

She was driving a Jeep Cherokee heading south in one of the highway's two northbound lanes about 9:30 p.m. when she collided head-on with a Chevy Tahoe driven by a 34-year-old woman.

Kalispell police did not identify the other driver, but did say she underwent surgery at Kalispell Regional Medical Center Thursday morning.

Both women were alone in their vehicles at the time of the crash.

Wingert said the crash remains under investigation.
