Flathead County sheriff's deputies looked into a report that a man came to the Shady Lane residence, broke the door and punched her husband. An hour later, a driver was threatening people and an intoxicated man hit a woman. The incidents are connected.

Something seemed fishy when tenants at the White Birch Motel offered new tools in lieu of rent. Later a maid found a brand new chainsaw, and another tenant brought a power drill.

A dead horse was reported leaning on a post along U.S. 93, and the caller feared animal cruelty. A deputy found five healthy horses, fed and watered, but no horse holding up a fence post at that time.

Indecent exposure was reported on U.S. 93 South.

Child abuse was reported from the hospital's emergency room.

Neighbors are not in agreement about how a Great Dane is being cared for - the neighbor reports no shelter for the short-haired dog, and the owner says it's false. The animal warden took the pooch to the shelter.

A reckless driver cut people off, made bad passes and barely squeezed between two vehicles along the Main Street and U.S. 93 South area. A deputy let the owner know that the highway is not a race track, and that there have been several bad accidents lately.

Four women were involved in a fight at the casino entrance to Town Pump on U.S. 2 in east Kalispell.

The resident wanted to file a complaint that a house mover knocked down his mailbox. The house mover wanted to fight.
