Lee Daniel Taylor, 89

Lee Daniel Taylor, 89, who passed away Nov. 30, 2006, has been laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Marcella "Sally" at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetary. Lee was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Big Sandy. He was raised in the Whitefish/Kalispell area.

As a young man he logged in Stillwater and was also a mechanic.

A true Montana man, he loved to hunt, fish, and explore the beautiful country. He was always tinkering on old cars and tractors.

Lee and Sally raised three devoted children, their daughter, Joan Taylor Grant of Visalia, Calif.; two sons, Fred and Sandy Taylor of Everett, Wash., and John and Stephanie Taylor of Anchorage, Alaska. He also leaves behind brothers, Robert Taylor of Seattle, George Taylor, also of Seattle; a sister, Gladys Rochon of Kalispell; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he enjoyed being with.

Lee was preceded in death by wife of 46 years, Sally; a son, Harold Taylor; brothers, Bill Taylor, Howard Taylor and Jessie Taylor; and sisters, Hazel Ramschen and Alice Walksmooth, all of Kalispell.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lee's life from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 1, at Birch Grove Community Center, 594 Birch Grove Drive.
