Kalispell police took a report of an abandoned vehicle parked at Asian Auto that appeared to have a dead animal inside. The business owner pledged to move the rig. It did have a deer and elk leg in it but, interestingly, no smell around it.

A Great Dane in the alley effectively had a woman trapped in her house, she told police. Soon, the owner secured the dog.

Police gave an intoxicated pedestrian a ride home after the person was seen stumbling down First Avenue West.

Two people in a domestic dispute on Sixth Street West were separated for the night.

An 18-pack of beer bottles was reported stolen from the West Idaho Town Pump.

It seemed odd that the 13-year-old should be out on in-line skates at 4:30 a.m. near Smith's gas station. Police discovered he'd just moved here from out of state, then sent him home.

Two boys reportedly hit a paper carrier in the head with a rock just before 6 a.m. at Village Greens.

Two males spotted crawling through a window at Fifth Avenue West were found and ticketed on suspicion of criminal trespass.

An assault was reported at Kalispell Junior High.

Someone was concerned about a very young child walking alone along East Oregon. Police could not find the youngster.

A man drove through Taco Bell and spit his chew tobacco at a window there.

The Montana Department of Transportation got a second notice about rocks spilled on U.S. 93 near Jesco boat company when a rock the size of a tennis ball got kicked up by one vehicle and through another's windshield Monday afternoon.
