Clarence E. Teel, 85

Clarence E. Teel, 85, a resident of Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport, Pa., formerly of Montana for 35 years and eastern Pennsylvania for two years, died Sunday morning, April 29, 2007, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Born on Jan. 18, 1922, in Center Valley, Pa., he was the son of Paul B. and Olga Getz Teel.

On Sept. 12, 1942, in Pen Argyl, Pa., he married Pauline R. Teel, who died in 2004.

He was a submariner in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Later, he was a machinist for Anaconda Aluminum in Columbia Falls for many years.

He was active in the Flathead County Search and Rescue.

Surviving are a son, Lee Teel, of Ludlow, Pa.; a sister, Doris Bower, of Canonsburg, Pa.; two grandsons, Aaron and Scott Teel; and a great-grandson, Adam Teel.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carole Louise Teel; three sisters; and a brother.

Services will be held in Bath, Pa., followed by burial in the Belfast Union Cemetery in Belfast.
