Beverley Joan Keane, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at the Health Center Northwest in Kalispell. She was born on Nov. 27, 1934, in Wolf Point, to Henry and Lillian (Lyonias) Duval. Beverley moved with her family first to the Flathead Valley and then to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at an early age.

After graduating from high school, she moved to Oakland, Calif., were she met and married William Keane. They married in St. Joseph Catholic Church on June 12, 1952, in Oakland. The family remained in the Bay area for 50 years while Beverley owned and operated an answering service. After her retirement in 2002, Bill and Beverley moved to the Flathead Valley to be near her family.

Beverley loved her flower gardens, cooking and spending time with her family, but her choicest possessions were her daughter and two grandsons. Beverley was a strong and persistent fighter. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William 'Bill' Keane; a daughter, Delia Keane; two grandsons, John and Bill Watkins, all of Kalispell; and a brother, Roger Duval of Santa Rosa, Calif.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Risen Christ Catholic Church with Father Rudolph Bullman as Celebrant. A Rosary service will be said at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel.
