Terry Miller, 58

Terry Miller passed away at 58 years of age, Saturday, April 28, 2007, Kalispell, as a result of injuries sustained from an accident while with friends and family. Terry was born at the General Hospital in Kalispell on Aug. 31, 1948, the son of Irvin C. and Jane D. (Omyer) Miller.

Terry was an active member of the Valley View congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. His faith was of primary importance followed by caring for the needs of his family and friends.

Terry was raised and educated in Kalispell, graduating from Flathead High School. He enjoyed and participated in many recreational activities with a particular love of fishing, hunting and boating. Although Terry sought association with family and friends, he valued his customers as friends too. Terry and his brother, Leonard, were co-owners of Northwestern Truss Company. They were very proud of what they had accomplished with their business. Terry will be remembered for many things, generosity being among the foremost.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Katy Miller, of Kalispell; and a very extended family including one son, Christopher Miller of Seattle; two stepsons, Justin Skalsky and Rick Skalsky, both of Kalispell; his father and mother, Irvin and Jane Miller of Kalispell; two brothers, Steven Miller of Billings, and Leonard Miller of Kalispell; two sisters, Kathy Montgomery of Great Falls, Va., and Janice Miller of Seattle. Terry is also survived by his very close cousin, Rexford Miller and his wife, Sherry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Terry will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at the White Oak Grand Ballroom on the corner of Hwy 93 South and Hwy 82 in Kalispell. There will be no public visitation.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is participating in the caring for Terry's family.
