WHITEFISH - The Glacier Twins' seven-game winning streak is history.

The Helena Senators took a doubleheader from the Twins at Glacier Twins Stadium on Sunday, winning 11-1 and 10-0.

Glacier, 9-3 overall on the AA American Legion baseball season, committed five errors in both games and could muster just two hits in each contest.

"It was just a tough day, a bad day," said Glacier Twins coach Jarod Grubb.

Helena did all of its scoring in the second, third and fourth innings in the opener. In the second game, the Senators scored in every inning but the third.

Both games were shortened to five innings by the 10-run rule.

On Saturday, Glacier swept Belgrade, winning 12-2 and 7-5.

Glacier's next outing is Wednesday at home with Libby, 6:30 p.m.

Also Sunday, the Glacier Twins A stopped Kootenai Valley 13-3 to move to 2-4 on the season.
