Kalispell police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of felony criminal mischief after a Flathead High School custodian saw a man throw a rock through a window at the school. He got away after an initial chase, but eventually was found. Three windows were broken, valued at $600 each.

Holding a shovel as if he were going to hit her with it, a woman said, a man entered her house. She locked herself in the bathroom and asked police to remove the man and another man from the house. Police told her to leave until arrangements can be made for an officer standby for her to get her things.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and having an open container in his vehicle after he reportedly approached another person and tried to buy meth. He collapsed after the arrest, so police took him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Police arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to sell, after a traffic stop for a Pontiac Grand Am with no license plates on U.S. 2 West early Monday.

Cash, a purse, checkbook, credit cards, knife and two pairs of Oakley sunglasses were reported stolen from an unlocked car on Sylvan Drive.

Montana Department of Transportation and the city's Public Works Department were sent on the trail of a possible leaky septic truck after somebody spotted spilled septic fluid on North Main from the 200 block and north to the area of the hospital.
