Whitefish police made a traffic stop near Town Pump on U.S. 93 Wednesday night and arrested a 24-year-old Columbia Falls man on several counts - DUI, having no proof of insurance, expired vehicle registration, being a habitual offender, and driving with a suspended license.

Two 17-year-old boys were ticketed on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia Wednesday night at City Beach.

Early on Thursday, a 29-year-old man was stopped near Mike's Conoco on U.S. 93, and ticketed in connection with DUI, having no proof of insurance and driving with a suspended license.

Owners of the Red Caboose restaurant called police shortly after 3 a.m. when they could not awaken an intoxicated man and send him on his way.
