A son reportedly threw his mother to the ground and left the Sixth Avenue West residence on foot. Before Kalispell police could find him, a woman called dispatch to report a man matching the son's description had offered her $15,000 to drive him to Canada.

On Friday, a girl who'd been arrested for underage drinking escaped from the emergency room before her medical exam was finished. She was found.
