Kalispell police found that some folks who were just enjoying the weather and sunshine Sunday afternoon looked suspicious to others. One man at Masonized Dry Cleaning was reported "out of it" and staring at the plants. Two males and two females, with black hair and black clothing, were sitting in a van. It was parked in front of the owner's home, police said, and "all uniquely dressed parties are just out enjoying the sunshine."

The items were removed from the road and the youthful offenders counseled after police answered a call about two children throwing items onto the road at Bojangles restaurant on U.S. 2 West.

Recent surgery didn't deter a yellow Labrador with a camouflage collar from running from its home Sunday afternoon on Third Street West. The concerned owners reported their lost dog.

Males were passed out in the alley behind Colter Coffee on South Main, and intoxicated on the back stairs of the county library's second floor.

A storm window apparently fell off and shattered, and a "no parking, bus loading zone" sign was leaning against the wall - both at Elrod School.

Two calls at 8:57 a.m. Monday reported a dog tied for up to a half-hour on a short leash to the fairground's chain link fence across from the post office. It was gone when an officer arrived.

Dangerous drugs were discovered Monday morning at Flathead High School.

People came to remove items from a home at Jubilee Court, but they didn't belong there. A man ended up being arrested on a Columbia Falls warrant for partner or family member assault.
