Whitefish police arrested a 46-year-old woman for speeding and driving with a suspended license.

A lethargic baby fox was found on Greenwood Drive on Saturday and put into a playpen for safekeeping until Fish and Game could pick it up. But then it bit the man who lives at the house and ran away. On Monday, the couple was irate that he may now have to undergo rabies treatment and wanted to know why Fish and Game officials did not respond. Turns out that officers had left phone messages for the couple, who did not return the calls.
